COMPUTATIONAL SIMULATION

The computational simulation is a tool that allows evaluating and predicting the behavior of physical and chemical phenomena through the use of advanced numerical methods and the governing equations of the process. As a result, a two-dimensional or three-dimensional model of the phenomenon is obtained that facilitates decision making, since reduces the risk in the manufacture or acquisition of new equipment, evaluate the performance of current equipment, perform analysis of energy efficiency,  among other applications.

FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS (FEA)

The finite element analysis (FEA) is a simulation technique that allows evaluating and predicting the structural behavior of one or several pieces subject to different efforts, in order to determine displacements, resistance of materials, among others. In addition, this simulation technique can be used in stationary and dynamic thermal analysis, both of single parts and of sets of parts whose domain is made up of fluids or solids that are in contact. As a result, a two-dimensional or three-dimensional model is obtained that allows us to validate the mechanical and/or thermal design of the equipment, prior to its manufacture and start-up.

COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS (CFD)

The computational fluid dynamics simulation (CFD) is a simulation technique that allows to evaluate and predict the behavior of a fluid in contact with another, whether these are liquids, gases or a combination of them, where the trajectory lines, flow patterns and intensive and extensive properties can be visualized. of the control volume. In addition, interactions with solids can be included for the evaluation of stationary and dynamic thermal and mechanical phenomena, both of simple parts and also of sets of parts whose domain is integrated by fluids and solids that are in contact. As a result, a two-dimensional or three-dimensional model is obtained that allows us to validate the mechanical, thermal and fluid dynamic design of the equipment, prior to its manufacture and commissioning and

MODELING AND RENDERING

The modeling and rendering is a technique that allows obtaining a photorealistic image or video of the plant, which is updated in each of the stages of engineering development, in order to visualize the available space, piping route, equipment layout, among others. applications, prior to field installation. This 3D model is used as a P&ID complement, since it allows to verify the connection points and spatial orientation in a simpler and more intuitive way. In addition, it is a fundamental support tool to transmit information between those in charge of project development and their respective engineering and maintenance departments.
